Andrea has been with the clinic since 1994. She has a warm and caring bed-side manner and is passionate about general practice. She has special interests in skin conditions and preventing chronic diseases through nutrition and lifestyle measures. Her other professional interests include general medicine (conditions of the heart, lungs, bowels, kidneys, liver etc), women’s health (including hormone issues and menopause) and paediatrics. She strives to achieve balance in her life but ends up working far too hard most days. Her hobbies include science fiction, TTG (currently DnD 5e and Pathfinder 2e), learning the piano, spending time with her new granddaughter, gardening and researching interesting things. Her children are now adults, and she is very proud of both her sons who are respectively a general practitioner/musculoskeletal specialist and a software engineer. Her values are of the important role of one’s environment, and striving for balance, to achieve optimal health and happiness. She is neuro-divergent friendly and passionate about living an authentic life.
