Rachel is originally from Scotland, but did much of her schooling, and all her university training in Auckland. She finds being a GP exciting and rewarding; and we enjoy her bubbly, happy personality very much. Her medical areas of interest are diverse and include general medicine (conditions of the heart, lungs, bowels, kidneys, liver, joints etc), paediatrics, family health, women’s health, sexual health and mental health. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 young daughters, reading, cooking and attempting to grow things.

MB ChB 2011 Auckland Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery University of Auckland, New Zealand

DipPaed Post Graduate Diploma of Paediatrics University of Auckland, New Zealand

FRNZCGP 2020 Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners
